Haunted houses in Dallas–Fort Worth

24 places, each confirmed for 2026 on its own website. Updated Oct 12.

Haunted housesTrails & hayridesGhost toursNot too scary

The longest walk-through haunted house in the world is apparently in Fort Worth. Cutting Edge Haunted House holds a Guinness record for it, and it's inside a century-old meatpacking plant. Expect close to an hour inside. Plan ahead, though: tickets are extremely limited, so pick a date and time slot online early, and kids under 12 need a guardian. Over in Bedford, Moxley Manor Haunted House stacks three haunted houses in one spot, with chicken doors if you need out early. Parking's free.

Then there's the junk. A few haunts here are built out of actual junkyard scrap, which is a pretty great idea. If you've got little kids, Scaredy Cat Night in Fort Worth runs Oct 11 to Oct 18 with the lights on, actors posing for photos and free trick-or-treat candy, all for $19. The ghost tour list is long too, from downtown Dallas out to Waxahachie and McKinney. Grapevine Ghost Tours even includes a glass of wine. Ghosts and wine. Fair trade.
