The big Phoenix haunts are spread across the Valley, so it partly comes down to which side of town you're on. Fear Farm Haunted Fairgrounds in Tempe has a licensed Jason walkthrough, a cursed ghost ship and carnival rides. Scarizona Scaregrounds in Mesa runs three haunted houses, and laced, closed-toe shoes are mandatory for two of them. FYI on Fear Farm: they say to type the exact street address into your map app, not the business name, because some listings are out of date.

The AZ Field of Screams Haunted Corn Maze in Glendale shares Tolmachoff Farms with the family pumpkin patch. Very different vibes. Tickets start at $30, and last entry on haunt tickets is 10 PM. The weird pick is PoeFest 2026, where The Raven gets performed on the grand staircase of the Rosson House Museum on Halloween night. Check in 15 minutes early, since late arrivals aren't admitted. Little kids are better off at the railroad park in Scottsdale, where $15 covers unlimited train and carousel rides.
